All Tetherax products are designed with the player in mind. We understand that a strap can be a fashion statement but it has to be comfortable, and reliable first and foremost. All of our straps have multi ply, stitched reinforced ends. We also offer strap locks as an add on for extra security.

Our Ingredients
We have all heard of fancy materials where the root word is poly. Most are fancy words for plastic derivatives. If you have ever seen the yellow plastic rope at the hardware stores that is a form thereof. Imagine that but flat and wide and you are not too far off from the cheap basic poly straps that are out there. Do you really want a similar material to hang several pounds of a prized instrument over your shoulder? We don’t. Much like the linen industry touts thread count our poly straps go the extra mile in density as well and feel much like a car’s seatbelt – smooth and solid.
We like leather. While it has character it can be inconsistent and, depending on the cut, more susceptible to the elements. To keep our straps consistent and cost effective, we source our SodoLeather™ from one of the largest and best garment districts in the world. It is basically our version of “vegan pleatherette” etc. Try one. The look, feel, and vibe is all there. We want our straps to be comfortable and last a lifetime.
